CQB CITY AIRSOFT ACTION MARCH 27, 2011 (TM FIVE SEVEN GOLDEN AK L86)

The days events brought out more than 166 players from all over California and afar. Shooting was "hard and fast" from both sides. It was a great day to play and a day to play it was.

During the first quarter of 2011 several new gametypes have been introduced to CQB City. Today, a newly developed (although not the first time played) scenario was put forth.

Scenario - The Juggernaut

Story - A "super soldier" was developed by government team when the soldier went rogue and vowed to kill anyone that went against it. The team of specialist went in seek out a solution to rid the city of the juggernaut while a team of government agent went in seeking to subdue the juggernaut to run more experiments.

Objective - Both sides are pitted against each other to find a solution to get rid of the Juggernaut. All the while the Juggernaut roams the streets killing anyone.

Introduced during this month the gametype proved to be a favorite among players. The scenario as you may have guest it is a play off a popular video game and movie; Resident Evil. Players who have played the scenario get into the whole "indestructible" man. It truly is an awesome sight to see players running away from the juggernaut and the fear that sets into their eyes.

Most notable weapon of the day was a toss up between a TM Five-Seven, Golden AK-47, and a nice L85 (complete with British loadout)

Let see if we can get Freddie W to play airsoft at CQB City. Send Freddie a Message on his FACEBOOK, on YouTube, or on TWITTER. Let him know who sent you and to visit MilSimJunkie at CQB City!

I am honest for saying that. And what is the deal with asking people to bug Freddie Wong?! He is not a speedball airsoft player, he is a film maker. Why on earth would he want to come to CQB city?!

Freddie Wong says this on his bio on his website freddiew.com "Most people know me from my brief stint as a professional Guitar Hero/Rock Band player.

When I am not rocking faces with plastic, I am a filmmaker and musician in Los Angeles."

I was goings to say that the plastic thing must mean he's an airsoft player...but then I realized he was talking about guitar hero. Well whatever, he buys a bunch of airsoft guns from Evike. He's gotta play sometimes too...if anything it would be cool if he made a movie at CQB City....

I just got two nerf double ended axes, and am planning on using it in my next CQB game, in Portland Oregon. Milsim should check it out. the place is called Oregon Airsoft Arena, and its been in business for only a couple years.
